Continuing education classes and programs assume that continuing your education is a purely academic, information-based progression toward mastery. 

Training in Chinese medicine is much more than that. 

There’s something deeper and more essential than learning techniques and various new tricks for your tool bag. So many teachers, institutions and governing bodies make it seem like if you just follow a few simple steps, pay your fees and take a board test then you can become a great practitioner of Chinese medicine. 

But deep inside, you know it's not true.

Develop yourself

It is possible to become an academic practitioner of Chinese medicine. Many do, but it’s not enough just to know what to do. You also need to be able to do what you need to do. To do that you need to develop yourself in areas that academia and our society do not understand, approve of, sanction or control. That’s what it always has been and always will be.

The best and safest ways to dependably develop and explore these qualities are what we focus on in our Min Jie Foundations workshops. Min Jie Qi Gong helps you to build, develop and integrate your Jing, Qi and Shen to cultivate power. The Stone Needle work helps you to refine and focus your sensitivity and timing and clean and align your channels.

Return to the deep roots

We all can become better practitioners by returning to the deep roots of our tradition. These roots spring from our energetic, genetic and biological origins. The ability to heal rests in our capacity to connect our patients with these origins. The most dependable way that can happen is by example, which means frequently going into that territory yourself by doing a practice like Min Jie Qi Gong.

Daily practice of Min Jie Stone Needle Therapy will introduce you to an entirely new exploration of our acupuncture channels and really learn what the resonance of the arrival of Qi (De Qi) is all about from the inside and the outside at the same time.
